THE DEAL

By using HiddenShows.com or calling our hotline, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or the hotline. HiddenShows is operated from New York, USA ("HiddenShows," "we," "us"). Our Privacy Policy is part of these terms.

WHAT HIDDENSHOWS IS (AND ISN'T)

HiddenShows is a discovery and entertainment platform. We list shows and events submitted by users and third parties, and we operate an interactive telephone experience. We do not host, organize, promote, endorse, or verify the shows listed here. We are a bulletin board with a phone line, not an event organizer.

• Attend at your own risk. If you attend any event found through HiddenShows, you do so entirely at your own risk. We make no promises about any event's existence, safety, legality, quality, venue conditions, or accuracy of its details.
• Listings are user-submitted. Show information comes from the people who submit it. We may remove listings at our discretion, but we cannot and do not verify them.
• Your dealings are your own. Any interaction, transaction, or dispute between you and an event organizer, venue, or other user is strictly between you and them.

THE HOTLINE IS ENTERTAINMENT

Our hotline features fictional characters, interactive stories, puzzles, sound effects, and theatrical experiences — including segments designed to be mysterious or unsettling. All of it is fiction and performance. Nothing said by any hotline character is factual information, advice, or a real threat, promise, or offer. If spooky phone content is not for you, do not fail the password three times.

CALLS, RSVPS & VOICEMAIL

• By submitting your phone number for an RSVP, callback, or similar feature, you expressly consent to receive automated and prerecorded calls from us at that number for the feature you requested. Standard carrier rates may apply. You represent that the number you provide is yours.
• Voicemail is recorded after an announcement and a tone. By speaking after the tone, you consent to the recording. Do not leave voicemails containing unlawful content, threats, or other people's private information.
• To stop receiving calls, contact us or simply do not submit your number again; RSVP calls are one-time reminders, not a subscription.

ACCOUNTS & CONDUCT

You are responsible for your account and everything done with it. You agree NOT to:

• Submit false, misleading, unlawful, or infringing show listings or content;
• Use the site or hotline to harass, threaten, defraud, or impersonate anyone;
• Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the site, hotline, or other users' data;
• Use bots, scripts, or automation to abuse interactive features, games, or the hotline;
• Post or transmit content you do not have the right to share.

We may suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, and block callers at our sole discretion, with or without notice, including for violating these terms.

YOUR SUBMISSIONS

You keep ownership of content you submit (show listings, messages, voicemails). By submitting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and use that content to operate and promote HiddenShows — for example, publishing your show listing or referencing hotline activity in our public feed. You represent that you have the rights to everything you submit.

PREMIUM PURCHASES

Premium access is a digital product delivered immediately upon purchase through PayPal. Because access is granted instantly, all sales are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law or we choose to grant one. We may change premium content and pricing over time; changes do not entitle prior purchasers to refunds.

OUR STUFF

The HiddenShows name, characters (including our hotline personalities), stories, recordings, designs, code, and site content are our intellectual property or used with permission. Do not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit them without written permission. Personal, non-commercial sharing of the experience (screenshots, recordings of your own calls, telling your friends the legend) is welcome.

NO WARRANTIES

THE SITE AND HOTLINE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY. THE UNDERGROUND SOMETIMES FLICKERS.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HIDDENSHOWS AND ITS OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM EVENTS YOU ATTEND, CONTENT SUBMITTED BY USERS, OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR HOTLINE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $50 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS.

INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend and hold harmless HiddenShows and its operator from claims arising out of your content, your conduct, your violation of these terms, or your attendance at any event discovered through the site.

GENERAL

• These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and disputes belong in the state or federal courts located in New York.
• If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still stands.
• We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
• You must be at least 13 to use the site, and at least 18 (or have a guardian's permission) to make purchases.
